OK, we know you’re a geek from way back. You wouldn’t be reading Baseline if you didn’t have long experience working in technology. 

Do you really want to risk having cluelessness become a standing joke below when you have to hand over your laptop so someone else can uninstall a glitch Windows patch or some problem crops up that’s obviously due to an error in the registry, but you don’t have time to track it down and fix it yourself?
