Idaho’s Stukent reshapes education with digital simulations

"Digital Education Reshape"

Fast-growing Idaho-based company, Stukent, is pioneering change in the world of education. Founded in 2014 by Stuart Draper, the firm has served over a million students, with textbooks and real-world simulation applications that stay on the pulse of the ever-evolving digital marketing landscape.

Operating from a 25,000 square-foot facility in Idaho Falls, the 175-strong professional team specializes in business education materials, making digital and social media marketing a focal point.

Stukent, celebrating swift growth over the past six years, now ranks among America’s fastest-developing businesses. As its 10th anniversary approaches in 2024, plans are underway for an open-house event to celebrate its achievements and growth in the new building.

This year marked a new phase in Stukent’s evolution with founder Stuart Draper retiring from his CEO role, passing the mantle to Jim Holm.

Stukent’s transformative journey in digital education

Draper maintains a significant presence as its second-largest shareholder and board member, continuing to shape the future of the company.

Holm, well-versed in leadership, has embraced the challenge to continue the company’s growth. He plans to further Draper’s legacy, taking the company to new heights.

Stukent implements a unique learning approach, a digital “simternship”. This 10-week program offers students hands-on digital marketing and analytics experience, turning them into practitioners and not just theoreticians.

With plans for future expansion, Stukent is set to partner with two retired Brigham Young University accounting professors. Under the leadership of CEO Jim Holm, the emphasis is on creating interactive software, bridging the gap between conventional and modern electronic teaching methods.
