Strong Leadership Equals Engaged Employees

Well-Rounded  Organizations with strong leaders are 13 times more likely to outperform the competition on financial performance, quality of product/services, employee engagement and customer satisfaction

If anyone had doubts that there's a direct connection between strong leadership and organizational success, the following statistics should put an end to the argument. As compiled by Dan McCarthy, director of executive development programs at the University of New Hampshire, the data demonstrates that the ability of a senior executive team to bring out the very best in employees will produce clear, measurable benefits. Such leadership produces more opportunities for employee engagement, product improvement, customer satisfaction and, yes, profitability. It's also interesting that even though these executives hold an enviable position within the C-suite, they're constantly seeking personal improvement by hiring their own performance coaches. (Curiously, most of their CEOs don't.) These executives also learn and grow from the work itself and from their co-workers. The findings were selected from a wide variety of sources, including research from the Corporate Leadership Council, Center for Creative Leadership, and Bersin and Associates.
