Security Around the World - Difference of Opinion

As users' security perceptions toward the Internet are improving around the world, security experts say that the volume and severity of security threats is increasing. Cisco Systems set out to see how remote workers in various countries perceive and treat Internet security.

Brazilians have the highest disparity in security cognizance, with 79% of users saying they're practicing good security while working remotely. Conversely, only 46% of Brazilian IT managers agree, a difference of 33%. The second highest delta was in the U.K. at 30%.
