As editor-at-large, Chris oversees and produces feature content for Baseline magazine and baselinemag.com. Chris joined the Baseline team in 2007 after a stint as executive editor for VARBusiness magazine and as a freelance journalist and editorial consultant. Chris is a career journalist, having held newsroom management positions at several newspapers and consumer magazines including The Providence Journal, Newsmax and Gulfshore Life. He entered the technology press in 1998 when he joined Ziff Davis as a department editor for PC Week. He later went on to become executive news editor for eWEEK. Chris has also been a frequent contributor to national consumer and business publications including Worth and the Robb Report, and has numerous regional and national awards to his credit. A pioneer of Internet news delivery, Chris led the team that made The Standard-Times first online daily newspaper in Massachusetts, and he managed The Providence's Journal's first Web effort, the multi-award wining projo.com. Chris lives and works in South Florida.

David Strom is one of the industry's most respected journalists, covering technology and the Internet for more than 20 years. He has had several editorial management positions for both print and online properties in the enthusiast, gaming, IT, network, channel, and electronics industries. He is the founding editor of Networking Computer Magazine, and has held senior editorial positions at PC Week (the forerunner of eWEEK), VARBusiness and CMP Media's Electronics Group. As Baseline's technology editor, David provides clear insight into emerging products and technologies, as well as innovative uses for commoditized technologies.

Prior to that, Don was News Editor at eWEEK, and Associate Editor at CIO Insight and Baseline. Additionally, Sears has real-world IT experience as a Project Manager steering complex Web infrastructure projects, and shaping application services offerings as a Product Marketing Manager, both with the company Genuity.

Prior to that, he was a technology and business analyst at Scient Corporation, an Internet consulting firm.
