Re-Thinking HR: What Every CIO Needs to Know About Tomorrow's Workforce
A governance, risk and compliance solution is helping RadiSys manage financial, operational and IT processes more cost-effectively.
Even before we are able to quantify the benefits of using the Governance Portal for our 302 certification process, the benefits of using it are well-established. As noted, we have saved money by looking for additional ways to use the Governance Portal, which eliminates the need to purchase other solutions.
We also were able to launch a control rationalization initiative that reduced the number of companywide key controls by more than 30 percent since year-one of SOX compliance certification. In addition, we have saved a great deal of time, and are able to manage financial, operational and IT processes with greater accuracy and confidence.
Because the solution is module-based, it’s possible to expand its use incrementally as our organization evolves. For example, if we need to start performing internal audits, there is a module for that.
No matter how we evolve, we will be able to maximize our investment in this platform. We can solve new challenges, save money and ensure optimal communications internally and with our outside auditor—while remaining confident that we have a single, accurate version of the truth across the entire organization.
